It's important that expectations and standards are made clear to students so that they have a full understanding of the expectations for the group.
2. There are several ways to assess individual learning and performance. For example, short essays, journal entries, individual tests, and quizzes.

It was discouraging to be part of a group project and no one would help so that left the weight to get the project done on just one person. There was not a group effort to get the project done.
We also connected it to how our high school teachers did not have clear rubrics.
