Because when the wind keep blowing the soil, the soil erodes with the wind which changes the form of the cave.
When people are letting tourists in Jenolan Cave, they have to remove certain things in order for visitors to see around the cave. 

If Jenolan's structure deforms, then it will impact tourists by them not having anything to visit or see. But it would mostly impact the people who have a history with the Jenolan Cave. Recently we installed a new energy-efficient lighting system in the Orient and Ribbon Caves and the extensive River Cave, featuring:

• highly efficient lights, with minimal heat radiation
• uninterruptable power supply, for tour safety
• concealed fixtures, cabling and remote infra-red switching
• future capability for transferring data and monitoring outside the cave.
