2) A lot happened in chapter 7, but the main points is that he gets stranded out in the ice when a boat comes and they take care of him. (it all ties together the beginning of the book as we were familiar with the man on the boat - Walton) Sadly, Victor dies and the monster finds the body and feels remorse.
3) Walton is the man that nurtured Victor back to "heath" before he had his sad death. He was an explorer that journeys on an expedition to the North Pole. We were introduced to him through his letters to his sister at the beginning of the novel but we weren't really sure why he was in there. At the end of the book, however, we realize that the book we were reading was really his narrative that Victor told Walton. It's an aha moment for the reader and it all comes together.
