Malleable, plastic texture allows it to squeeze through the small capillaries. The shape of the blood cell allows it to move at a constant rate over the largest possible area. Lacks a Nucleus--this prevents it from needing large amounts of oxygen for itself, this allows oxygen to be freed into tissues that need it. Flexible disc shape help the surface area to volume ratio, this then enables oxygen and carbon dioxide to diffuse across the cell’s plasma more readily

It is not so much what is found inside the RBC, but what isn’t. Red blood cells do not have Nucleus, Ribosomes, Endoplasmic Reticulum, and Mitochondria. This is to aid in the amount of Hemoglobin a Red blood cell is able to carry. This the protein that is able to bind to oxygen molecules within a red blood cell. Hemoglobin is also responsible for the signature red color of blood

1. The red blood cell carries oxygen to tissues in the body

This is a good reason to elect the red blood cell because it is the one who brings nutrients to the rest of the cells in the body, without the red blood cell, the rest of the body wouldn't be able to function. It is the support system for all cells in the body and without it, everyone would be in grave danger of tiring out way too quickly, and eventually pooping out completely.

2. It doesn’t have a Nucleus, or any other organelles that a traditional cell would have

Because of the lack of Nucleus, the Red Blood Cell does not need oxygen for itself to survive, thus making it more of a vessel to transport more nutrients to the body at a faster speed. This selflessness is an important role in a leader, and the red blood cell has it.

Protects us every single day
The white blood cell has been fearless in defending your body against viruses, bacteria, and infections. It does this by ingesting foreign materials and cellular debris, destroying infectious agents and cancerous cells, and by producing antibodies. Without the white blood cell, the body would be extremely vulnerable and at risk all the time.
This connects to the function of the RBC because both of them contribute to the protection of the body. The RBC protects against fatigue and helps with the distribution of oxygen and carbon dioxide. The WBC protects against infections and viruses. Also, infections and disease cause RBC's to lower, so with the White blood Cell's help, the RBC can continue to do its job. Together, they make the perfect team to lead Humanville. Vote Red-Blood Cell 2020!
