HOT- Students have the chance to develop their higher order thinking skills by connecting the maths to the real-world applications from buyer and seller perspectives. You hook the students with an open-ended question using world cloud. However, would it better if you give them an example to start with to support students who needs extra support so they won't get distracted and frustrated.

Connectedness- it would definitely help them to connect their knowledge in the real world by going through the lesson. They can experience being a buyer and a seller using maths. I guess it would be a bonus if you create a life-related scenario by using the visual aids to spark their curiosity.
