The light bulb was invented by Thomas Edison. It changed everything because many people had more time to do some activities that they could not do before the light bulb invention. People could now read because the light let them see better. Also, the lightbulb helped factories increase production because the workers could see better sice the lightbulb was bright. Also, the light bulb lead to other inventions that change the future. According to history Crunch, it says, "Edison set out he develop the first incandescent light bulb that could be used on a mass-scale and replace the gas and oil lamps. He officially obtained a patent for his version of the light bulb, which used a carbon filament on January 27th, 1880. The development of the light bulb transformed society for people worldwide as, it is now commonplace across much of the world. It helped to usher in modern society and led to other advancements in electricity and technology" (History Crunch Writers, August 9, 2019, n.p)

The assembly line was invented by Henry Ford. This new system allowed Ford to create cars faster than they could imagine. This invention lead to a high production of cars. This also created an increase in sales. This invention helped many people travel faster because cars could go faster than walking. According to History.com, it says, "The Model T, sold by the Ford Motor Company from 1908 to 1927, was the earliest effort to make a car that most people could actually buy...The Model T was actually affordable and it became so popular at one point that a majority of Americans owned one...Each aspect of assembly was transformed into moving assembly, which improved efficiency and cut manufacturing time. In six months the time to build a Model T was reduced from nine hours and fifty-four minutes for one motor to five hours and fifty-six minutes"( History.com Editors, April 26, 2010, n.p)

The telephone was a really good invention because it allowed people to communicate at long distances. It also allowed people to communicate faster than if they were to use a telegraph because the telegraph took more time. Another reason why the telephone was a good invention is that it was cheaper to communicate. According to UBC it says, "The telephone was a very important invention of the nineteenth century which helped improve communications between people at a distance...No longer did people need to be co-located beside each other to be able to converse. Through the use of the telephone, people could have equally meaningful conversations at a distance, all the while preserving reciprocity. The telephone early on was also be used as a broadcasting medium like the radio, but also allowed for the audience to respond to the commentator, which made it a two-way broadcasting medium...(ETEC540 Text Technologies RSS, n.d, n.p).
