"My favorite Chaperone" Is about a girl that is from Kazakhstan and what her life is about as being a immigrant that was forced to move from her home to the USA. So far we have learned that her family has went threw a lot such as the parents losing their jobs, they had to sell most of there stuff to make a living in Kazakhstan, and they went down in hierarchy because of them losing their jobs. If I were to summarize what pages 193-200 was about the hardships of their lives. First they had to move to the United States because of the hardships in Kazakhstan then the kids where getting bullied causing the little brother to get into a fight. Overall "My Favorite Chaperone" is about the hardships that this family were forced to go threw due to being immigrants.
