Firstly procrastination involves ignoring and you choose to do something else instead of the task that you should be doing. But giving in to this impulse can have a serious effects, for example even mild episodes of procrastination can make us feel guilty. This can contribute to diminished productivity and cause us to miss our targets. However it is an attitude that should not be consider as normal to a student because last minute heavy workload will cause panic attack and stress. This is why time management is very important so that we are able to complete our tasks and assignments. 
Based on my experience, I used to procrastinate a lot during my school time. It has cost me to sacrifice my leisure time. Theres this one time, I had to do my course work, the teacher asked me to do a report and send in the next day but I turned in late. I always get distracted by my phone a lot and this always cause me a lot of consequences such as doing work last minute. Therefore I decided to start discipline myself and control myself from procrastinating. I also started to limit myself in using my phone. Next, I questioned myself why am I procrastinating and is it good for my studies? Ever since I started my university studies, I did my task and assignments on time. I think it's a good change for me.
