After reading multiple articles on myofunctional therapy, I think this is very beneficial in situations such as sleep apnea, breathing and posture, speech/swallowing, improving self confidence and enhancing orthodontic results. I think that this definitely a good thing to be recommending to patients in the future to give it a try especially if their insurance would possibly cover it! I think there is no reason not to at least give it a try if a patient is able to!
