<title>Hard Work We get up each morning, and head off to work. From construction to retail, and a paper shuffling clerk.Like the trees in our forests, our jobs certainly vary.A super busy schedule, they commonly carry. Our work is broken down,as we focus on each task.Bosses over our shoulders, countless questions they ask.Let’s not forget about, all those extra long hours.Evenings are filled, with exhausted cold showers. All this hard work,is not hopeless or bleak.A career of our choice, waits at the peak.We should combine hard work, with skills that they need.Throw in some passion, and we’ll surely succeed. It takes plenty of effort,to do the job right. The end result,is a simple delight. <title>Bout with Failure My fear for you, it is justified,As you demolish my confidence with every tide, As you stare, looking down of me, to see if I would hide,But I still confront you, outmanned from every side,As the scar accumulate as we collide, As I refuse to stay down with every inch of my pride,As I refuse to let the flames die from inside, With every breath, with every bit, even if it won’t suffice, I will remain, even if broken, doesn’t matter the price, Even if shaken, I still will justify my every sacrifice, In my path of self-destruction, I will still break your walls of ice, Your imposition, this attrition, all you might devise,I will overcome, I will take on, with masochism as vice, As I will not dodge, just carry on, as if searching for paradise, Till the end, till the last ounce, my aim will be precise, Doesn’t matter the many falls, i will still rise,Till the last step, the last breath, till my last demise,I will keep pushing, doesn’t matter how much you might antagonize. <title>An Athlete&#39;s Wish Oh how I wish I could stay injury free, and remain as healthy as can be.Hopefully I possess the determination I need,so that I can succeed. To never give up in the midst of a fight, when victory is just in sight. To eat the right foods and get plenty of rest,so that I will be the best.To be professional both on and off the field, what benefit good sportsmanship can yield. To break a old record or two, score a point, maybe even a few.To work hard for the good of the team,so we can all acquire the championship dream. To hold nothing back and give my all,so I can add another trophy to my wall.Though I might not make the big leagues some day,I just wish I could at least always play. <title>Friendship Ixx - Poem by Khalil Gibran And a youth said, &quot;Speak to us of Friendship.&quot; Your friend is your needs answered. He is your field which you sow with love and reap with thanksgiving. And he is your board and your fireside. For you come to him with your hunger, and you seek him for peace. When your friend speaks his mind you fear not the &quot;nay&quot; in your own mind, nor do you withhold the &quot;ay.&quot; And when he is silent your heart ceases not to listen to his heart; For without words, in friendship, all thoughts, all desires, all expectations are born and shared, with joy that is unacclaimed. When you part from your friend, you grieve not; For that which you love most in him may be clearer in his absence, as the mountain to the climber is clearer from the plain. And let there be no purpose in friendship save the deepening of the spirit. For love that seeks aught but the disclosure of its own mystery is not love but a net cast forth: and only the unprofitable is caught. And let your best be for your friend. If he must know the ebb of your tide, let him know its flood also. For what is your friend that you should seek him with hours to kill? Seek him always with hours to live. For it is his to fill your need, but not your emptiness. And in the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter, and sharing of pleasures. For in the dew of little things the heart finds its morning and is refreshed. </title>

<title>When the battle lines are drawnAnd you have valiantly stood your groundBut once it finally dawnsThat you have lost, then get off your high horseStep back with grace and accept defeatIt may be taken as a sign of weaknessBut you know, it requires strength to gracefully retreatAnd to congratulate your adversary and shake handsYou are enveloped with a sense of peaceIn life, love, sports or war, you win someAnd lose some, that’s the way it isIf everyone tries to have the last word, there will be anarchy.
