         <title>Hello my friends!I&#39; m from Greece, a country with  rich cultural heritage and I m so proud of this.  I live   Rhodes island. I  work as a teacher in a  Public Primary School at Rhodes Town ! My school has 250 pupils, from 1st to 6th grade, aged from 6 to 12 years old. This  school year I work with pupils of 2nd grade. My school is participating in a Erasmus KA2 european program as a partner and Im the school coordinator! Our project is &quot;G.A.M.E as a method of Education&quot;. Due to this program, I and all my school community has the opportunity to get familiar with other cultures !  I&#39; m so happy to participate in this  online course which will supply me with  valuable experience which will help me to improve me as a teacher and as a European citizen</title>

         <title>Rhodes (Greek: Ρόδος, Ródos ) is the largest of the Dodecanese islands of Greece in terms of land area and also the island group&#39;s historical capital. Administratively the island forms a separate municipality within the Rhodes regional unit, which is part of the South Aegean administrative region. The principal town of the island and seat of the municipality is Rhodes. The city of Rhodes had 60.000 inhabitants. It is located northeast of Crete, southeast of Athens and just off the Anatolian coast of Turkey. Rhodes&#39; nickname is The island of the Knights, named after the Knights of Saint John of Jerusalem, who once conquered the land.Historically, Rhodes was famous worldwide for the Colossus of Rhodes, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The Medieval Old Town of the City of Rhodes has been declared a World Heritage Site. Today, it is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe.</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Cultural Heritage is presented  in our school curriculum through many school subjects like history, Music,  Greek Language, Enviromental studies, Maths and so on. Also we organize festivals with greek customs and folk dances, and our pupis take part in theartrical  plays  which  has to do with drama and comedy from the greek ancient period.<br>Also, we pay visits to museus, to archaelogical monuments and we  get involved in projects which has to do with the greek culture (games,  food, buldings, mythology),</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Europeana  it's a great  platform  with useful databases for many school subjects and projects!  I liked more the section with <strong>virtual exhibitions</strong> and <strong>galleries</strong> to <strong>thematic collections</strong>   from countries around Europe! I think the Europeana website is huge and need to dedicate a lot of time to discover its treasure.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Collection "Vision of Wars" has a part called  "Landscapes remade".This part I can  use them so to start a conversation about the bad results of a war,.<br>Additional  my pupils can write down an article about their thoughts and feelings about the results of a war. . At the end  they can  make their own paintings showing the opposite of the paintings of  this collection. For example,  how can be these landscapes in time of peace.  Later, we can dispay them  at a  art school exhibition in contrast to the one in Europeana Collection. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>My name is <strong>Vasiliki Liapi</strong> and I am teacher at <strong>18th Primary School of Rhodes, Greece.</strong>&nbsp; Rhodes its a island&nbsp; &nbsp; of Aegen Sea, part of mediterranean Sea. My school has 245 students from 1st to 6th grade,&nbsp; 6-12 years old. This school year, I teach at 3rd grade&nbsp; (8-9 years old). My students love fairy tales and stories from greek mythology. Also, they adore to participate in games of all kinds and through all the&nbsp; school subjects.&nbsp; As a teacher try to incooporate in my teaching hand on&nbsp; activities. To involve my students to&nbsp; <strong>STEM activities </strong>is an interesting challenge for me&nbsp; and I hope for my small scientints. According to me, <strong>STEM is Everywhere </strong>and I hope alltogether to identify it through this etwinning project. </div>]]></description>
