Idea 3
1. What/who is the film about?
A character who utilizes time travel and the butterfly effect to manipulate current trends.

2. Who is your audience (what type of people would go to this film? Be specific!)
Fans who look for scifi aspects in films. Generally more of a psychological or thought provoking film.

3. What is the important point this screenplay should make?
It should provide an insight into how your actions could have deep consequences, and entertain the audience with a thought provoking question about time travel.

4. What do you want the audience to do and/or feel?
I want them to feel excited about the plot. They should analyze the situation and wonder about how it could play out in real life.

5. Please describe a minimum of two characters using this guide.
(Links to an external site.)
With short black hair and playful eyes, he was a rash adventurous person. With courage and bravery overfilling, he could face any challenge he wanted. He always thought of it this way, but others called it foolish.

She had long brown hair, with eyes darting everywhere. She was cautious and preferred staying out of the limelight as much as possible. Darting around the street, she seemed like a rat, scrambling from one corner to another.

6. Why does this story matter to you? Why did you choose it?
This story matters to me because it was super interesting the first time I read the short story. I had some doubts about the plot, so I want to experiment with how the story might play out in modern times and with a different approach.

7. Why will your audience be interested in this?
It's thought provoking and entertaining. In general, it's a fun story and invokes your imagination.

8. How will you grab their attention?

I will grab their attention at the beginning by using a situation in the middle of the plot before jumping back.

This is the closest match to the ideal hunting scene for my play. There won't be any death or violence, but the play should have an ominous feel to it. Similarly, a dinosaur chase would be an important plot point for the story.

1. How did this fourth week go for you? What was challenging? What could Mr. Burr have done better?
The fourth week went well and it felt the smoothest of the other weeks. It was difficult to figure out the screenplay formatting, but the guides were amazing and I had no issues with the resources given.

2. What was the most valuable thing you learned this summer in Mobile Media? Why?
I learned how to shoot a video (obviously), and it gave me a new insight on everything I watch. Being able to name a shot that professionals use is super cool, and I learned how to tell a good story.

3. How do you feel about the storytelling? Are you proud of your project? What went well? What could go better?
I felt that the storytelling was way easier because I could articulate what I wanted, and I had been thinking about this idea for a while since I read the original story.

4. Any final comments you would like to leave about this class. Likes? Dislikes? Room for improvement?
This class was super fun in being able to film videos and learn how to use imovie. It was difficult being able to remember what to film, but the planning was super helpful. It was an amazing class, but it would've been helpful to know what different shots did. For example, what emotion you want to go for with a shot or what shots to use in different situations.
