"He stretched out his arms toward the dark water in a curious way, and, far as I was from him, I could have sworn he was trembling. Involuntarily I glanced seaward – and distinguished nothing except a single green light, minute and far away, that might have been the end of a dock." (Fitzgerald 20-21)

Genre #1 of my multigenre project is to Analyze your Favorite Quote. For this part of my multigenre project, I have picked the quote above, from the start of the book, as it is one of the most memorable points of the book. This quote is when nick sees Gatsby glancing at the green light towards Daisy's house. I remember this part very well because the topic of the green light is brought up multiple times throughout the book , after this point, and this quote is the first part in it to mention the green light.

Genre #2 of my multigenre project is to Analyze song lyrics. This song, Dead 2 Me (So Naïve) is a song, written and sung by the artist named "Cafuné". This song relates to the Great Gatsby because, first, the title of the song represents how jay gatsby may feel towards tom and daisy at the end of the book as they had gotten him killed. Heres a Bar from the song -

You invented me
Had me orbiting
Now you're dead to me
I was so naïve

This shows how jay gatsby feels towards daisy, saying that she invented him and had him orbiting, which makes sense, because after he came back from the army, she was the only thing in his sights, and he did all he did for Daisy. In the later half of that bar is expresses how Daisy, at the end of the book had betrayed him, by letting tom go along with his murder and she kept quiet and did nothing to save him.

Genre #3 of my multigenre project is a Crossword Puzzle. For this part of my multigenre project, I have made a crossword puzzle full of all of main the character's names in the Great Gatsby. For each number I have also given a clue as to which character it is in the form of basic knowledge from the book "After gatsby's death the east was haunted for me like that, distorted beyond my eyes' power of correction" (Fitzgerald 176)

Genre #5 of my multigenre project is a Map of the Great Gatsby. For this part of my multigenre project, I have hand drawn a map of the Great Gatsby based on the setting that was described in the book, as well as using my sources in order to get the map as accurate as possible. The Biggest reason that I put this map into my multigenre project is because it provides a better understanding of the book by allowing you to comprehend the layout of the setting described in the book.

Genre #4 of my multigenre project is Text Messages. For this part of my multigenre project, I have created fake text messages between George and Tom, that are accurate to what could have happened in the book. For these fake messages I decided to make it about Gatsby's death when Tom lies to George and says that Gatsby was the one who ran over Myrtle. The reason I put these fake Text Messages into my multigenre project is because it is one of the climax and biggest scenes in the book, where the main focus of the whole book (gatsby) dies.
