My group member Mirna thinks that the book is also interesting and sad and funny at the same time. One part i really liked is when the boys mom was describing how a nurse on his day of birth kept on farting. This book doesn't remind me of anything. Julian was comparing August to a Star wars character because the character got hit by lightning and his face got burned. This is an interesting part because it shows how kids bully others for little things.                                       
I feel that Julian is trying to get rid of August. As in trying to get away from him because of his facial features. He might think he is not cool or is not as good as Julian.
