It is believed that if one folds a thousand origami cranes, their wishes would come true. Origami cranes symbolise hope and healing during challenging times; NIEC is continuing to grow, and there may be setbacks, be it minor or major. Despite that, we believe that NIEC will still continue to grow and strive further, bringing individuals of different potentials to work hand in hand to bring NIEC to greater heights, further nurturing children in various ways.

It also represents happiness and eternal youth – very much like how we wish to have NIEC prosper, and continue to guide the future generations of children.
