Technologies
No technologies
History
Tourism
Green city

You'll create a design on Canva or Genial,ly to present to the class.

Also, you'll keep a diary on google docs of what each member does during the project.

Learning about cities.

On your own, take 20 minutes to learn about:

Different traffic rules through a Youtube video
Rules of the road with a listening

In pairs, take 15 min for:

Giving directions through a podcast and an interactive activity.

What kind of city?

As a whole class as well as individually, we'll take two classes (120 minutes) to learn about the different types of purposes our cities will have: alternative energies, technologies, no technologies, history, tourism and green city, using a variety of materials: from videos, to infographics, to presentations on canva.

Creating a map

For 5 minutes, we'll individually examine diferent types of maps to establish what we learnt before, such as the Kid's map of Leeds.

Then, in pairs, each couple will have 15 minutes to create a simple map with directions following what we have learnt using Sketchbook.

Remember to use Canva or Genial.ly. Remember to work in groups of 4 or 5, and you can work in class and outside, but you'll only have a week to finish the project from the moment we start.
