Identity is something you own and is something that everyone can relate to. Fashion is always changing and with the Internet people with diverse backgrounds express their identity with fashion. Identity covers a range of things from age, race, ethnicity, background, religion, or gender. Artists across the world use fashion to express themselves and their identity in garments. As well as artists changing fashion to relate to themselves more, either to gender bend different items of clothing or put their culture in their work. For example, Alexander McQueen would use feathers in his work as he got up admiring the birds above him and identified himself as one of them. Fashion can be used to identify yourself and how to make others see you without saying anything. Even with gender people use fashion to show who they are and what they feel inside. Fashion can also be used for religious purposes, for example, head coverings like Shayla and Turbans. In the modern world traditional themed clothing helps people to relate to how they are and where they come from, using traditional patterns or beading.

How sustainability relates to my choice of fine art painting. Art has always been evolving as time has passed. How art has changed from realism to impressionism to Post-Impressionism Est. Art can be sustainable as artists have used recycling and re-purposed tons of rubbish from landfills to turn them into works of art. For example, Vik Muniz created the piece called Marat (Sebastião), it was made completely out of trash. The piece composed of sand to create the finer deals, while trash surrounded it. He is materials from trash, wires, puzzle pieces and shredded magazines.

By working with recycled materials these artists are highlighting the effects we are having on the planet by being so wasteful. It is a powerful way of getting the message across to the world as not only are these beautiful but creative pieces, but we are also reminded of the negative impact on our environment. When I created a piece incorporating an adult dear were I used both paints and recycled material to create a 3D effect. I also used recycled wood to create antlers to enhance the 3D effect even more.
Identity is something you own and is something that everyone can relate to. The logo I'm going to look at is Gmail and to see how they have changed their logo for better or worse. So looking at the beta design, it shows that there is potential in the logo and promotes what the company wants to promote. From 2004 to 2012 the logo has not changed much except the font of the text. However, when they changed the logo in 2013 it really changed the way the company looks and was refreshing to see and for the users as well. I did quite like this design. Then they changed their logo in 2020 and this is the year that the company Google wanted to keep their icons and logo the same and consistent. However, this is their downfall as yes it is bright and colourful to match the colours with Google image. But for the user this consistency can be annoying as they see the colours and think it is one of the other apps that the company has. In my personal opinion I do like the look of the new logo but it's confusing as I think it's the maps or photos.

When we talk about gender the general consensus at one point was that you were referring to either male or female. The Albert clock was built between 1865-1869 and was designed by W. J. Barre. It was built in memory of Queen Victoria's late husband, Prince Albert. When W.J. Barre first designed it he imagined it in Belfast's Ulster Hall. This is an iconic structure in Belfast as it is beautifully crafted ie. carved statute of Prince Albert, carved crowned lions, angels, gargoyles and floral decorations which shows the workmanship that went into it. It is one of the landmarks that make Belfast, Belfast. When it was originally built the foundations of the clock was not very stable and over the years it started to lean. However, this trait gives it further character hence why the clock is known as the leaning Albert clock. You would be forgiven for just looking at this and seeing a clock monument but if you really study the structure you can actually see the amazing architecture that shows the history and trends that were used and were popular at that time. The clock was finally positioned in pride of place and is in the heart of Belfast.

Wikipedia.com

discovernorthernireland.com
