Entering the 2nd semester, I initially thought that the class would be held online, just like in the 1st semester. Though my expectations were half-correct, it is still nice to have at least 1 face-to-face class before the mid-term break starts.

The gamification activity, in itself, is fun. I get to learn while at the same time, playing the game. It helps me to look at this course from a different perspective.

I think that is all I have to say. I am grateful for taking this course. Thank you.

I particularly like this course for the effective lecture. The lecturer didn't just read the powerpoint slides and explained everything very well, which made me stay focused to the very end of every lecture sessions because I was actively taking notes. Besides, the gamification activity is a great idea. It is not only simple and stress-free, but is also helpful in learning. Although we only had 1 physical class for the first part of the semester (that the general deemed more effective for education), it felt as if both online and physical classes are of the same quality to me. I hope i will continue enjoying this course for the rest of the semester.

This subject is quite interesting as well as the gamification part. The gamification part improves my knowledge especially the videos that being uploaded in it. The explanations given from lecturer make me more understand and the lecture notes are easy to understand. Thank you Sir for all the knowledges ^<^ :)

Deep down, i really like this course and after our face to face class with Dr this week, i was really having fun that time.I like the way Dr teach me , the stories and so on,it was really really fun and exciting.I really hope I can see Dr again and learn with Dr more.Thank You Dr Nasa!!!

I love this course very much since the lecturer carries each of the learning units simply and we can gain a lot of knowledge without becoming stressed. the lecturer also did very well delivering his lecture. he put some interesting stories based on his experiences so that we can be more motivated to finish this course excellently.

This is a fascinating subject. combined with the gamification component, which helped me recall the important sections and made it easy to recall the subject and topics.

Sir's teaching style is one of my favorites. Very detailed and informative.

In terms of cumulative work marks, thank you sir for making our job easier by requiring us to only answer the questions and revise the topics in the gamification part.

I'm hoping that by the end of the semester, everyone will excel in this subject.

I have enjoyed this course so far. I am glad that the in-charged lecturer did not straight away read the lecture note which made me easier to understand as he deliberately explained the lecture in his own words. I also appreciate the efforts of helping the students to get higher marks by preparing the gamification activity that will engage students' passion to finish the storyline and game in order to get higher marks.
Deep gratitude to the in-charged lecturer, Ts. Nasarudin for your time, effort and knowledge during your time in this course. I hope all students are able to excel in this course!

I really like this course because I am interested in this course. Dr is teaching in a creative method such as gamification. It makes the lesson fun because of the storyline inside the game. I really like this kind of teaching method. The gamification was also very interesting and I had fun learning this course, especially during face-to-face class. This is because Dr always gives some example and explain them in effective ways. It makes me understand and can imagine it. I feel grateful when Dr shares some tips or experience about how Dr studied and experienced in school. I really appreciate it. The ocean will be the most exciting part of studying for this course. I enjoy every moment of our class and hopefully could learn more in the future.

I am very grateful for the gamification as it eases the work to achieve better marks in the final. It was a rare opportunity to see these things, and I will not pass it for anything.

This is such an interesting course. Definitely one of my favourite courses here! I love how Dr Nasa always explain further about certain topic rather than just read whatever is written on the slide. And I also find it amusing when he shared about his study journey during class. He also answered to our questions nicely and genuinely and always welcome us to ask him anything. The idea of conducting gamification using classcraft is actually great and fun. Learning and at the same time gaining knowledge! An interesting approach especially for people around our age. It motivates me a lot. Overall, this course is really fun and it is even more fun with Dr Nasa. Thank you so much for everything! Even though we only had one physical class, I had so much fun!!! Hope that we can learn even more from you

I really like this course and learning from you makes me happy and grateful because I like the way you teach us. It makes me more focus and understand better. I really love this course and enjoyed learning it. The lecturer Dr Nasarudin Harith is very kind. He didn't read the lecture note , instead he explaining the slides very detailed and very well.

I'm really in love with the gamification activity. It is so fun ! At the same time I can learn a lot from the game. I really appreciate the knowledge you have give to us, Sir.

I really enjoyed this course, especially the face-to-face session, although it's only once. I found the gamification game was a fantastic idea, and I did enjoy it! The game is simple and stress-free.

Sir didn't only read the slides; he tried to go into better detail on the subject.
All of Sir's explanations during the lectures help me in understanding and imagining the situations. Furthermore, because the explanations are based on personal experience, Sir was able to quickly connect them to each topic.

Sir Nasa is a true inspiration, and I admire how he is always enthusiastic and encourages us to not give up on our studies. Thank you very much, sir!

First of all, I want to say that this topic is really interesting to learn. Not only that it was a new experience for me but I also get to know about the fun fact that Dr Nasa gave during our face to face class. Dr also provide new teaching experience such as the game which make the learning more exciting.

I had so much fun learning this course. Thanks to Dr.Nasarudin for the first half of this course. Having one and only face to face session is not enough but somehow I learnt a lot from it.
My most attention grabber's learning unit is LU2. Get to know these tiny creatures which know as plankton has widen my vision of how important it is in maintaining the balance of ecosystem.
Gamification helps me to understand all these LUs better, simple tasks done, experience gained, and no stress.

I really like this learning approach. It interesting that I can have fun while learning at the same time. The gamification task is quite simple yet still require us to look back and remember the thing that we learn during class. It was a new learning experience for me and the most interesting method to use during semester. I wish I can do something that similar to this method but more challenging and interactive for both students and lecturer. Overall, it was fun and enjoyable to do for the mid-semester 2. The first half of biological oceanography course classes are enjoyable to learn. The teaching methods and lecture notes are simple and informational. I had fun in the play based learning approach in gamification, as it includes story lines and completing tasks related to the learning units, and additional videos on oceanography. Not to mention the generous 15 marks for completing the gamification. Thank you, Sir Nasa.

I really like this kind of learning session. We are not only given the tasks by reading those lecture slides and notes but we also need to finish the gamification task. For me, learning is not about remembering facts or writing notes but how we enjoy the subject without feeling stressed. Applying that kind of method really helps me, especially as a slow learner student. For Ts. Nasarudin, I hope you can keep this style because I believe students will feel more excited to explore this subject. In my personal opinion, you are a great lecturer. Since this subject has a relation to physical oceanography, I am eager to explore more when I enroll in this subject. I really hope all my coursemates will pass the final exam with flying colors and we can apply our knowledge to teach and explain it to the future generation. THANK YOU SIR!!!

I enjoyed this course very much. The way the lectures explains the course with their own words and experience definitely help me a lot in understanding the course is about plus some fun facts and info from Dr Nasa during our face to face class.
Dr also create a very fun and new ways of teaching by using a game. I say it really make this learning a lot more fun.
