Falling Point
1. 1551 Portugese Invasion  started with negotiation of releasing the prisoners of the European people caused by the war against infidels. But Malacca procrastinated. Ended up triggered Portuguese to bribed the fortress in Malacca.
2. Corruption of Sultan Mahmud Once Malacca was no longer ruled by Malays, it lost the daulat, or legitimacy, to command tributes and trade from the surrounding states. Where there was one dominant emporium in the Straits of Malacca in the 15th century, by the turn of the 16th there were several. The Portuguese presence survived largely by allying itself with one or several of the local states.
3. King Portugal heard the news about the wealth of Malacca. Triggered Portuguese to monopolize Malacca. It was taken over after that.
