Here's a picture I took in Prague in February 2015. My study abroad group had a bit of a difficult time with deciding on where to eat -- we ate at a place called The Pancake Corner multiple times. Prague is often described as a city taken out of a fairytale. Definitely one of the coolest places I've ever been!

Have been there twice, and it was so hard to leave Paris and come back to everyday life! Wonderful city with tons of tourist attractions, architecture gems, interesting museums and galleries, amazing food, and friendly people. Again visited once in the summer and once around New Year. Would recommend to everybody to visit at least once!

Must go! Growing modern city, but with a touch of history. Learned few words in Lithuanian to communicate better. Fabulous food and wonderful outdoor markets with beautiful gifts to bring home. Also castles, medieval churches etc. Have beautiful memories.

The most missed by me place on Earth - the city where I was born. First mentioned as a Polish city in 997 or 999, has many historical places like 14th century St. Mary`s Church (one of the two largest brick churches in the world), medieval city walls, Polish Post Office - site of 1939 battle, and a large number of museums. Personally - world`s capital city of Baltic amber. I always fly to Gdańsk airport when I get to visit my family.

Just a month ago, I was in Budapest, Hungary with a group of Honors students. We toured the Castle District the second day we were there. It was rainy & windy, but absolutely fantastic. I can't wait to go back!

This is a picture of Sacsayhuaman in Cusco, Peru. I visited there in 2006 before spending a few days hiking the Inca trail. I didn't take any photos of Machu Picchu that are better than what you can find online, but I've always enjoyed these photos. Some of these stones were almost as tall as I was, and are so closely fit (without mortar) that even today you can't fit a sheet of paper between them.

Was there just for a day, so didn`t get a chance to visit Black Diamond - Royal Danish Library, but still enjoyed myself. This beautiful Scandinavian city has lots to offer, like 17th century waterfront lined by brightly colored townhouses, museums, zoo, castle and amazing gardens.

It happened, that I was working for 14 days in this beautiful city! My library in Poland was hosting 2 librarians from Aalborg, who returned the favor and invited me for the business trip to see their libraries. Unforgettable experience with automated libraries outfitted with robots and self checkouts and check ins, castle, museums, 17th century architecture buildings, parks, and Lindholm Høje - major Viking burial site and former settlement situated to the north of and overlooking the city of Aalborg. Would love to come back and visit my friends!

This is the rocky, mountainous side of Taiwan (east coast). The rocky beaches are full of medium-sized pebbles. This is an area known for it's gigantic marble gorge. A night market vendor gifted me a glass beer mug here that I treasure.

My dad taught on the FSU study abroad program during my senior year in high school so we spent four months in Florence. My ugly coat was bought at local shop so it seemed cooler than it was. This is my dad and I in the open market. My mom and I spent a lot of time there! On the upside, shopping helped me learn numbers in Italian.

My college roommate grew up as as MK on Bonaire, and after college, I went with her, her husband, and her inlaws (all also friends of mine) to visit her family for two weeks. Definitely the most unique place I have ever been! A desert island, Bonaire is a fascinating mix of tropical and desert and of European (Dutch), Caribbean, and South American culture. It's the "B" in the ABC islands of Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao, and I learned how the islands are thought of as sisters, each with their own distinct personality.

One more pic from Bonaire--the salt mounds! Besides tourism (it's a scuba diving hotspot), Bonaire gets most of its revenue from salt production. It was so cool to see the process of getting salt from the ocean and to see what looked like sand dunes but were really mountains of salt!

In college, I went with a group from my school to L'Abri for spring break. Started by Francis Schaeffer in the 1960s in Switzerland, L'Abri has grown to have locations all over the world. The England location is housed in this old Manor house in the countryside. My experience there is definitely one of the major life-shaping experiences of my life.

Mostly self explanatory, best in the winter when you can really experience the contrast between piping hot springs and frosty air outside. There are some nice places to stay, and the Appalachian Trail passes through. I don't know if I'll ever get to hike the whole AT, but there are nice day hikes from here.

Singapore is such a fantastic, diverse, cosmopolitan place! The food is incredible and the diverse mix of culture and architecture is so fascinating. When you go be sure to get a Singapore Sling at the Long Bar in Raffles Hotel. Or just watch Crazy Rich Asians and make your own, I've got a recipe if anyone needs it :)

My dream house! But seriously, there is so much interesting history here. I think it's the most beautiful château in France, with a bridge that once spanned the Cher river. It was bombed in World War II, but beautifully restored.
