Identity:

I agree with the definition of identity because it states that the concept of identity is central to our lives. In my opinion, identity is a highly important or impactful thing that belongs to someone and it is very significant in our daily lives. Additionally, I also agree with the statement that "your own identity as a reader shapes your understanding of works and texts." This is very true as our identities will cause us to view things in different ways to other with different identities.

Culture:

I believe that culture is slightly hard to define, but I completely agree with the statement "culture as being about the collective ideas and values we (more or less) share, and the ways in which these ideas are communicated" This really speaks to me as I believe that culture is a communal thing and it doesn't just belong to a specific individual. I believe that culture should be something people share and celebrated, and this statement describes that perfectly.

Creativity:

"Creativity is required to interpret and understand a text, and to explore its range of potential meanings" I never thought of this in that way. I never realised that you need creativity to be able to understand a text in a certain way, but now I realise that you will need this in order to effectively understand the writers intentions for their readers. I'd also like to add that creativity is essential in writing to be able to have a successful and interesting piece.

This ad is the most subversive because it juxtaposes or contradicts energy drinks, because they are marketed to increase your energy. It's an ad focused on sleep that promotes the idea that energy comes from sleeping. The ad's placement on the fridge door in front of the energy drinks creates a contrast, challenging the energy drinks and catching attention.

The placement of the ad shows guerilla marketing, where the intent is to stand out and provoke thought in an unconventional way. If this ad wasn't approved by the store or the energy drink companies, it increases its subversiveness, directly targeting the contradiction between the products' purpose and the ad's message.

This ad really shocked me because it's provoking people to harm themselves even though it's probably not intentional and it's just humorous.
