Supernatural intervention can be seen on page 99, line 9, when Zeus sends a dream to Agamemnon that convinces him to attack the city of Troy. This archetype is not very relevant today because there are not supernatural forces to intervene in everyday life.

We think supernatural intervention is the most prominent archetype in the Iliad. It is only relevant in religious settings. It's shown on pg 79, lines 50-52 " His prayer went up and Phoebus Apollo heard him. Down he strode from Olympus' peaks, storming at heart with his bow and hooded quiver slung across his shoulders."

The most prevalent archetype in the Iliad is godly intervention because of the multiple instances of humans reaching out to Gods for help and advice (for example, lines 42-49, page 78.) In modern life, people pray and ask God to help or forgive them.

Molly, Rainey, Josh, Jack

We found evidence of an Evil figure with a good heart in Agememnon. As he is a fairly selfish person and is also pretty mean but there might be a chance for him to redeem himself. Just like in modern life when people usually have a chance to make themselves a better person.

we think the most important archetype in the Iliad is supernatural intervention. One example is on page 84 on lines 241-251 which is when Athena stops Achilles from fighting with Agamemnon. This is not relevant in modern life because the gods intervene with life anymore.

This archetype is very relevant to our society today. Everyday, people mature and change their opinion on certain subjects.

The most relevant archetypes the unhealable wound and supernatural intervention. The unhealable wound is that Achilles knows he's destined to die this can be found on page 91 line 496. Throughout the story the Gods and Goddesses are able to influence different events an example of this is on page 79 line 61. The unhealable wound is relevant to life because everyone will eventually die. However supernatural intervention is not because there are not gods and goddesses that affect daily life.
