Though out the entire story , when males are being the dominating figure over his girls. Is it corrupting the characters or helping them? Corrupting its making her become vile and not care about anything, not even herself. What qualities did the main character have that helped or hindered them? Negligence is the main characteristic and it drives her to do immoral things but it was not completely her fault, was also due to the male role models in her life.

It hindered her in the sense that she has to bare a child alone, but helpful in the sense that she is free from her husband who wanted to leave her. Even with Macbeth hiring murders to kill Banquo in a savage way.
