I don't know the reason to capture me, but i saw a big pot they were going to boil me in. It was almost like they were going to eat me. So, i walked and i walked for hours it almost felt like days. There he was, my savior, i knelt to show my gradítute. He accepted me, took me in like i was his. He taught me his language, gave me a new name, Friday, I am very thankful of all the things my master has done.

Could I survive? And then my eyes fell on a person. Standing tall and watching me run. My eyes must have begged him to help, because so he did. Without hesitating. My gratefulness fell on this man. I wanted to stay with him. Serve him and pay him with my life. It seemed only right. 
He took care of me and showed me his way of living. He gave me a name and told me his. He needed me as much as I had needed him. We bonded, and I learned about God. I understood that my life had been blessed. That I had been saved from a gruesome life. He taught me so much.

I don’t know where they went. But I was alone, until I saw a man who gave me signs with his hands to come over to him. I was afraid. I came near and near and kneeled every step I took. He wanted me to come closer. I did, and he smiled to me. I kneeled again and took his foot up on my head. 
 
We tried to communicate, and I think that he understood me. After some time, he began to speak to me in his own language. His name was Master, and he called me Friday. He taught me the meaning of yes and no in his language, and now I know the meaning of it.

A few kilometres from the cannibals camp i saw a man. He waved me over, smiled at me. He was talking gibberish. I didn't understand a word he was saying, but something about him seemed so nice. I slowly moved towards him, kneeling more and more. As i got all the way up to him i kneeled to the ground, kissed it. Put his foot above my head. I did it as a way of saying thank you. The more we got to know each other the more we were able to communicate. I ran for my life, suddenly there was standing a man out on the shore, where I was running. He just stood there and completely still. I thought it was one of the cannibals, who was trying to eat me before - but something was different. He was WHITE!!!!. He spoke a language i couldn’t understand. He taught me to speak and understand his language. He was really nice and named me friday.
