The only good human being is a dead one”(43). This qute had usage of euphemism, because Snowball is making the action of killing a person seem less bad than it is.</div>]]></description>

This is an example of plain folk, to get the crowd to come together and listen to him. This works, because the animals are convinced that Napoleon represents all animals of "four legs."</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In this chapter, Napoleon gets his dogs to bite a group of so called traitorous pig and drag them to were they will be killed in front of everyone. “The four pigs waited, trembling, with guilt written on every line of their countenances. Napoleon now called upon them to confess their crimes”(83). This is a clear example of using fear on everyone watching.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>As Napoleon began to act more like a tyrant, pigs would give him new names. "Napoleon was now never spoken of simply as Napoleon, he was always referred to as “our leader, Comrade Napoleon,” and the pigs liked to invent for him such titles as Father of All Animals, Terror of Mankind, Protector of the Sheepfold, Ducklings Friend, and in the like”(93). This passage is an example of glittering generalities, because he is called new names that seem nice and good but do not fit him.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>As the food and supply for the animals dropped, Squealer tells them how they will get a "readjustment" of rations when they are getting less and less. “Squealer always spoke of it as a readjustment, never as a reduction"(112). This is usage of euphemism, since Squealer is making their loss of resources sound like a better thing than it is.</div>]]></description>
