Açaí do Alto

One of my favorite places is Salvador is Açaí do Alto. It's a restaurant where sells açaí, a type of "ice cream" made by a dark-purple berry. It's very common here in Brazil.
The "Açaí do Alto" is close to my school, so my friends and I go there a lot. It is really comfortable and in the walls there are some drawings. My favorite one is a image of wings. I think it's there so someone can take a picture and pretend that they are an angel or something like that. Oh! It also sells sushi! It's a really cool place to hang out!

Hi, I´m going to talk about Barra, a neighborhood in our city,it is my favorite place in Salvador, I think. There´s a lot of things to do around there. One of the streets is closed to cars, so you can walk on it , skateboard or scooter. There are also restaurants around to eat a good meal and listen to a good song. I really recommend to visit Barra Lighthouse and get to know the history involved. At the end of the day you can watch the sunset. I swear it´s awesome. See you soon , have a nice week!

I was born and live in Salvador,a city that is in Bahia/Brazil, which has several nice places to go. One of my favorites is Ribeira, a neighborhood know for the ice cream parlor that has the name of the neighborhood, which is very known,and is considered one of the best ice cream in Brazil. Besides the wonderful view, mainly there is the sea that adds to the beautiful landscape. In addition to the ice cream parlor,there are residences and many restaurants. Most of them serves seafood.

My favorite pleace in my town is Pelourinho. It´s the Historic Center of Salvador. There we can find a lot of great things to do like eating acarajé -a tipycal food of Bahia, visting museums and churches. You can also buy suvenir and wacht Olodum shows and others things.

Salvador is a big and beautiful city. It has a lot of places to visit and have fun. But my favorite place is the shopping mall, especially Salvador Shopping. Sometimes I go with my friendsand we can buy things, wacht a movie in the threater and eat. I like to buy my chotlhes in John John and Farm and read books in Cultura. My favorite reataurants are Madero and Oliva. The best ice cream is from San Paolo.

Hi, mundo name is Gaby and I’m going to talk about cheese bread,this food is from the state of Minas Gerais. This food tastes like cheese, since there is a lot of cheese in the recipe.People usually eat this food for snack or breakfast or at dinner. I don’t eat cheese bread often, only at parties basically. The cheese bread is made with sprinkles, cheese, oil, salt, eggs, milk and water.

My favorite food is açaí, the taste is like ice cream but for me it’s better, a lot of peaple say that the teste is like earth...
It’s made from the açaí fruit, we usually eat the açaí with powder milk, condensed milk, granola, or another fruit.
I always try to eat on Sundays with my friends. But is a frozen food só I just eat it when it isn’t a rainy day

Hii, Today I’m gonna talk about Coxinha , actually it isn’t a brazilian food, but that’s one of the most famous ! It’s crispy and salty and people usually eat this as a snack ! I don’t often eat it cause that’s more common in parties. Coxinha is made of chicken , dought and sometimes catupiry,a kind of cheese.I really don’t understand people that don’t like it.

My favorite food is tapioca, usually we eat that at breakfast, but I like to eat it at any time of the day. It can be sweet or salty. It depends of the filling. It's made by tapioca flour mixed with water than we bake it until it is ready. At the end, we choose our filling. It can be cheese, butter, meat or even chocolate. I love this food but I don't eat that a lot.

my favorite brazilian food is acarajé, it is of african origin made with oil of dende and a specific dough. It is a delight and it´s from bahia. And is made by bahian acarajé specific figures of culture. Acarajé has a different flavor, in fact a unique flavor that can not be explained. I usually eat on days that I go to itapua where there is the but acarajé of the city. And people usually eat acarajé any day of the week

Brazilian Food

My favorite Brazilian food is brigadeiro. People usually eat it once a week (and me too!). To make brigadeiro, you just have to put condensed milk, butter and chocolate powder in a pan. After, you mix it until it's thick. Brigadeiro is a delicios food and easy to make. Also, you can eat it with other foods like popcorn and cake.

The 8th graders are graduating from our school and moving to the high school. They travel together to New York and Philadelphia. When they return, there will be a graduation in the center of town and the beginning of their 2 and a half month summer break.
