Alec is trying to help the stallion when the ship is on fire and the boat is sinking. Alec just lost his Dad. The horse got tangled up so Alec decided to cut the Black free. Then a ship comes to the island and Alec and Black are rescued. He met a guy to train the stallion and the guy's name was Henry. Alec and the Black won the race against Cyclone and Sunraider.
I would give it an A because I like that Alec found a friend that he could count on. They worked hard and won the race. I was sad that Alec lost his Dad. I like that Alec came home and his Mom was there.
