I learned a lot about mental illness from these articles. In article 1 I learned about how PTSD affects veterans. I never realized how much veterans go through and how much help they really need to get through their PTSD. Veterans experience a lot of things when they are deployed. This article helped me see what we can do to help veterans from committing suicide. In article 2 I learned about how veterans deal with PTSD. In the article some veterans talked about their experience with PTSD and what they did to help it. They talk about ways other veterans can get help themselves. In article 3 I learned about different mental illnesses and how to treat them. I also learned the effects these mental illnesses how on a person. This article can help me a lot because now can see different symptoms to mental illnesses and help people with these mental illnesses. In article 4 I learned about the stigma around mental illness. The author taught us about how this stigma affects people with mental illness in everyday life. I believe we should normalize talking about mental illness and not ostracize it.
