The weather is continental humid. Summers are hot and winters are very cold.

The food has variety of garnishes and is mainly based on rice, vegetables and meat.

The famous places are the Hangang River, Namdaemun Market, Deoksugung Palace, Cheonggyecheon Creek, Changdeokgung Palace, Gwanghwamun Square and Jongmyo Shrine.
