Pause between the stimulus and the reaction to notice what you're feeling, and choose how to respond. Try different methods to build space between what you're feeling so it doesn't overwhelm you, such as breathing or visualization (i.e. passing clouds).</li><li>Focusing meditation is a tool for connecting with emotions and building space to receive them.
