2/26 20 mins p. 191-196
It hit me funny how Crow described her observation of a mole crab. She said, "Mouse paid no attention to anything except a mole crab that decided it had lived long enough and tunneled up through the sand directly between her front paws.

2/27 20 mins p. 197-205
After Crow and Osh and Miss Maggie found the treasure hidden for Crow, from her mother, I loved the part when Crow felt her father's grave's carving, and knelt down and put her head on the ground at her mother's grave. She was filled with love then.

3/1 40 mins p. 205-216
I like how the author tells the cat (Mouse)'s life through the character's perspective. Crow always determines what Mouse is thinking, even though she cannot speak. I like how in the pages I have read recently, she describes how Mouse jumps up onto Crow. It's hard to explain but it's cute. :)

3/1
Osh warned Crow that treasure changes people. I really hope that the treasures change people. He said that they don't want until they have plenty and then they want more and more. I hope that Crow will not be changed by all of the treasure that she got from her Mother, which has died along with her father from leprosy

3/4 40 mins p. 217-229
Since the village people did not know where Crow came from, they though she might have leprosy. I think that it's reallhy unfair that they always treat her as if she has a disease. They open doors for her, only so she wouldn't touch them and spread the disease. This is especially unfair because Crow does not have leprosy. In this section, Crow was hurt because partially, of how the people treated her. She flash-backed to the times that she was treated poorly, and that was unfair to her and rude.

3/4
At first, Osh was upset that Crow didn't tell him that she left the treasure at the house when the guy (Mr. Kendall) was breaking in. At first, this seemed to me for no reason, but as I thought and read on, I now think that deep inside, he did not want Crow to change because of the treasure.
