I also didn't think about science being of any connection to our thinking. 
~I now have a clearer understanding of science from activities from this course. Science is not just about doing experiments, but it's the way we think, question, communicate, and feel about the world. I have a more in depth understanding on the theory of knowledge. Knowledge is not just what you have learned, but it is a combination of your belief, your confidence, and the truth.
~One way I feel that I will continue to grow after this course is by continuing to evaluate different things I come in contact with. I actually thought that the scientific method and scientific inquiry was pretty much the same. The steps included for both was identify the problem, research it, form a hypothesis and test it, then present your results. 
~Because of the Science Notebook assignments that we had to complete, I have a better understanding that the relationship between scientific method and scientific inquiry is that they both use similar ways to find answers to questions. I now know what inquiry-based science is. It's a form of teaching that requires learners to investigate problems, research solutions, make observations, ask questions, test hypotheses, while thinking creatively and using their intuition. 
~After my experience in NS 100, I will be able to use my knowledge to challenge my students critical thinking. I will be able to help them perform scientific inquiry on a daily basis. ~My thinking about life and being alive is still the same but I now have a more detailed opinion. Life is having the ability to adapt to your environment because you are capable of metabolizing, eating, breathing, growing and reproducing. All life on earth possesses a DNA. Their DNA carries all the ingredients of life to even be alive. 
~After my experience in NS 100, I can give a more in-depth explanation to my future students about life and why we have the ability to live. Help them to realize just how important life is. They were organisms that could only be visible with the use of microscopes. Which is true but macroscopic is things that can be seen with the naked eye without the use of a microscope.
~My thinking now on about how microscopic changes have macroscopic effects is still unclear. I did read that the microscopic forces between atoms change states of matter which effects macroscopic properties. One topic that drew in me was effects of sickle-cell. It saddens me because it seems like more children are being affected by it. The subject on sickle-cell that needs to be deeply dissected.
~Going forward I am truly still unsure on how I will continue to grow in regard to this topic on micro and macroscopics. But I will make sure my students know the difference between the two.  And I will make sure to have lessons on different kinds of diseases that can affect them, their families and friends, so they can be more conscious and be able to have empathy towards others.

Science was definitely one of my weakest subjects in school and I never put much thought into after school. My scientific perspective now, I know that its more than just experiments. Science taps into our critical thinking and causing us to challenge our thinking to discover what is true and what isn’t. I'm more interested in learning science now.
~As I completed activities in this course, my understanding about science makes me realize that science is more than just performing experiments. Everyone needs to be science literate. Being science literate means to be able to have the understanding that causes you use critical thinking daily, which will be needed during your educational and professional life. Science I now know is a never-ending teaching and learning concept that's needed because the world is forever changing.
~Going forward I will use inquiry-based techniques and teach my students problem solving skills and how to be able to collaborate with others. Thinking about this course, I initially knew it was going to be a challenge. I have always wondered why being science literate was even important especially if you are not going to be a biologist. 
~My experience with this course has definitely helped me to realize that science is an important subject that needs to be taught in classrooms. Science has many benefits in the classroom which can help strengthen students' ability to learn that I didn't realize until taking NS 100.  
~I will definitely continue to use my experience from this NS 100 course to tap more into, not only my critical thinking skills but to help my students tap in also.
