Dear Sandra Jee Student, 

My name is Vanessa. I am 10 years old. I am in 5th grade and I have five family members. My favorite thing to do in school is Science and I also like to do TikTok, drawing, painting, or anything that has to do with crafts. 

What I do during my free time is I make TikTok, I talk to my friends on FaceTime. I go outside to my backyard and play on the trampoline as well. I do it because it is fun and it would keep me interested.  

I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up. I might be an amazing actress or something else. 

This is all about me. Now that I said stuff about me and I would like to hear from you.

How are you doing ? I liked your writing, and I like what you are studying as it seems to be interesting. I  am very excited to have five family members in my family because I enjoy spending time with all of them. I hope you also enjoy spending time with your family members as well, even if your family is less people than mine. 

As for TikTok, you don’t have to post your own.  You can always just watch other people’s TikTok.  I was also a little shy so me and my friend did it together. And after a while, I started to get the hang of it and started posting my own more. And I also like to be on Instagram.

I also saw that you wrote about making dolls.  That sounds pretty cool to make, but in my opinion, I think sometimes dolls are creepy when they are staring at you.  Sometimes,  I get uncomfortable, but not all dolls do. 

You also said that you like to cook something new, and I am actually in a cooking class. I sometimes like to cook as well. And that is cool how you have a YouTube channel.  I also have one, but I don’t know what to post and I am nervous to post something, because more people are going to be watching me more than on TikTok. 

I like to listen to music too but I don’t listen to it a lot. And I appreciated how you helped me on what I should be when I grow up. I could be a scientist when I grow up, but I still have a lot of time to decide what I want to be when I grow up. 

 I liked what you talked about when you were younger and about what you wanted to be.  I also like how you chose to help other people. I saw that you wrote about if I have friends that know what they want to be when they grow up. However,  I don’t know what they want to be so maybe I will ask them.

 I don’t have a dog, but I always wanted one.  My older brother and I have been wanting one a lot lately, and I hope I get one soon. Even if you asked me a lot of questions, I was able to answer all of them. I hope to hear back from you soon.

Dear Sandra,

        

    It is a little hard to read your letter, but it’s fine because I still try to understand it. Though this time I guess it is a little better. I saw you wrote  that you have a lot of homework and I feel for you. Now, I don’t really have any homework because I do it at school.  My teacher does let time for me and my classmates do it at the end of the day. However, if we don’t get 75% or more then we don’t pass, and then we will have to do it again at home. 

At home, I don’t really do anything because I can never find anything to draw or do and I never really have any paint. It is cool that your friends draw you stuff and paint stuff for you.  I could draw you something, but I am not a good drawer. I tried to draw once but it didn’t look good. Nevertheless, I will try my best to draw you something during my Spring break next week. 

It's also cool that you like TikToks related to animals, food, and make up. I like TikToks that show dances, funny things, and other stuff that I don’t know how to explain.  I also like to watch a lot of different things. And also for the dolls, I guess some can’t be creepy sometimes depending on  how they look. To me, the creepiest doll is probably Chuck. What's your least favorite doll? 

I do like cooking and I was about to quit but I decided not to quit. I am going to join an arts and crafts class because we got to choose our electives. I guess cooking is like science but I will be careful. I am also a bad cook like you are. Some of my friends don’t know what they should be in the future and I don’t know what they should be in the future either. Though, I still have a lot of time to think and decide about it. As for dogs,  I have been wanting one for a long long time and yes it does take a lot of responsibilities,  but I think my brother and I will take good care of it. You are right, it is a good idea to get a small dog. That was also my and my brother's idea too. Also, that is a good name for your dog. You are lucky you have a dog cause I don’t. 

That is for now. We will talk more in the next letter. In the meantime, have fun in college.
