In January 1978, Iran did substantial scale shows against Iran's government. Around the same time from August to December, strikes and challenges deadened the whole nation. In mid-January 1979, Shah was compelled to escape abroad. Following two weeks Khomeini, who was banished 15 years back, came back to Tehran and was invited by a large number of Iranians.. After the national submission, Iran turned into the Islamic Republic on April 1, 1979, and received the new Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Khomeini became the nation's preeminent pioneer in December 1979.
