When I first got to kindergarten, a 4 y'o boy can't seem to speak like his other classmates. I noticed he likes to suck his finger in his mouth, during the class, when he sleeps, watching tv.... almost all of the time

Recently, as the intensity went down, he speaks a bit and a bit these few days!!!

p.s. his mother actually considered bringing him to speech therapy

Glad that he is improving slowly!!!!

Shannee

in my opinion, i dont like these complexes,, i think like concerning the whole oedipus, it became quite like a big subject on tiktok at one point about how guys have crushes on their moms (weird lah) when i see it, i just feel like they want to be more like their dad?? not necessarily an attraction to their mom.. or maybe i just don’t wanna believe such complex exists 🤔

s - i feel like during this stage, there are a lot of people who have ‘unsatisfactory relationships’ - especially those who are starting to mature and they want to gain something from a relationship with another person, but sometimes when their needs or wants aren’t met, it feels ‘unsatisfactory’ to them. the way i interpret it, i’ve seen people who get into relationships with others, and expect their person to meet all of their expectations, but once they don’t, they just feel upset. an example of this would be when one of my guy friends dated someone who was quite younger than him and expected her to understand all his problems and be a ‘perfect girlfriend’, and yet got disappointed when she couldn’t provide his needs.. i mean she’s rlly young so i would’ve thought he expected that haha. i believe this may be because people grow ‘expectations’ or dreams about how they want someone to be. but yea, that’s how i interpret it. (i dunno if this makes sense huhu)

But not to the extent of .... mentioned.

I don't doubt exceptional cases, but generally, I don't agree that much

Shanneeeee

i do believe that girls and boys tend to usually look up to the same sex parents when it comes to ‘resolving their conflicts’ or just their experiences. although, it’s quite strange when it was mentioned that boys have a certain ‘attraction’ to their moms. i think it’s more of the way that boys want to be like their dad’s because they see how their mom really love their dad’s, and they want to get the same love maybe??

During the earlier times of this stage i feel like boys and girls start to develop crushes and like small relationships because of society but in the most part these relationships stat to fall very easily because they arent in love with the person but they are in love with the idea of that relationship which is why many of them fail. People also get into them for the sake of it or because its what others do without being self aware of themselves and loving themselves. However i feel later on in the genital stage once people understand themselves and what kind of partner theyre looking for and what kind of person they are then they can be happy
