English particles are quite hard to master. Korean language has particles to indicate time/places just like English- but the usage is slightly different. When we literally switch Korean to English, the overuse of English particles frequently happens, such as 'She married with Tom', 'I go back to home' or 'We discussed about the topic'.

The English language has tenses, while Chinese doesn't, so I have to remember to include time indicators when I speak in Chinese eg. yesterday 昨天, just 刚才

eg.

我吃饱了。(wo chi bao le)

I have eaten.

and this also impacts English, as we may directly translate it to Singlish:

我已经吃饱了。(wo yi jing chi bao le)

I eat already.
