         <description><![CDATA[<p>Jackie McCleary was the president of the Country Women’s Association, and also the netball club, and also the football club. She was treasurer of the school’s P&amp;C, did the roster for the Surf Lifesaving Club and recently launched a new fancy cake business, now the second fancy cake business in town.</p><p>“Thank goodness for Jackie,” some people would say as they dropped one kid off to netball and the other off to footy training.</p><p>“She knew I wasn’t available,” said others, disgruntled at seeing their name next to some commitment.</p><p>“What a know-it-all,” said others when they were caught off guard at Jackie’s direct, yet efficient, way of communicating.</p><p>Considering how much of the town crisscrossed through Jackie, it was surprising that it took almost three whole days before it was noticed that she was missing.</p>]]></description>
