Newmarket is a small school right in the middle of a bustling (for New Zealand) business district with primary pupils ages 5 - 11 years.

Hello all, Wow, this is clever. Never used Padlet before. Why do I think I am about to embark upon some exciting new learning around use of technologies! I am proud to say that I am head teacher of http://bader.org.uk/ in the north east of England. The Bader team work to the mantra: Learning is the Work, in Getting Better at Getting Better. We have been working on embedding Visible Learning principles for the past two years, sharing that journey, amongst others, with two inspirational schools in Wales, led by Tracy and Michele (see bios). What is more, in looking further afield, visiting New Zealand in July/August, I was privileged to visit Wendy's school, the simply wonderful Newmarket. This way of learning is a first for me + I am truly excited about learning from and with you all as we collaborate through this course. Thank you, Julie!
Twitter: @smfeasey
Blog: http://bader.org.uk/visiblelearning/

Greetings from Bahrain!!! I teach grade 4 at Riffa Views International School. Last year, along with the amazing Randi Wilkinson (below), grade 4 implemented the Together in the GCC Project joining together schools in the Middle East. This ignited my passion to increase global connections into the classroom through the already implemented project based learning in G4. Along with Margret Wang, we are currently in the process of linking up RVIS with independent schools in Princeton, New Jersey.

Originally, I am from Chicago, IL, USA, but called Tampa, FL home for 8 years before seeking out my life long dream of international teaching and world travel. As a former Graphic Designer/Art Director, I feel a unified digital presence is key as both a teacher and/or individual. Throughout this course my goal is to build my teacher presence as much as I worked on my personal presence.
