I think homework is useful. In my opinion students need to work at home, maybe a few exercises everyday. I've found a blog with some reasons Why Homework is useful.

From my point of view, in general and for secondary school, homework are necessary.

It is a way of own learning and for them to be more independent.

They need time to ask themselves if they have really understood the knowledge what you have worked in class and to work by their own a little bit so that they can ask you for doubts next time.

It is true that all students don't need to do homework but we can't say to do them just to a few of the students.

In my view, as far as Secondary Education is concerned,

homework is good to keep track of students' performances.

It allows them to stay tuned with the subject.
