This must always involve the same form of energy. One example is chemical energy from a battery then transferred to electrical energy that goes to a lamp

Energy transformation is when energy changes from one form to another. This has to do with the law of conservation of energy because even though it is changing form one type of energy to another none is lost or gained in the process.

How does energy flow in a system

Energy flows in a systemic cycle either when energy is transferred or transformed. In addition, when energy moves or changes it keeps on going in a cycle from one energy to another since no energy ever lost the energy is always being reused in different ways. One example is This photo shows how energy can flow in a system when the girls peddling creates mechanical energy that changes to electrical when put into the generator then creates thermal when put into the water. Some other examples of this includes when radiant energy from the sun powers the grass and turns into chemical energy then a cow eats the grass and it is still chemical, then we eat the cow which transfers the chemical energy to us. Then we start running and cause mechanical energy and some other energies, too. The cycle keeps on continuing on and on.
