The scam calls typically involve scammers impersonating FedEx representatives. They may claim that a package is undeliverable or that there are issues with your shipment. They threaten to report to the nearest Mumbai crime branch office or go on a skype call with the crime branch officials. This makes the victims nervous. They threaten you with legal consequences or fines if you don’t respond or provide payment. The caller then asks for personal information, such as your address or payment details, under the guise of resolving the issue. Once personal information is shared, money is siphoned or victims end up transferring money by opening phishing links sent to the callers.

- If you are a victim of a FedEx scam, you can report it by calling 1930 or cybercrime.gov.in. You can also contact FedEx Security by email at asksecurity@corp.ds.fedex.com.
