And even the drinking water supply was not provided for them and they even fall sick by drinking that water.
Not only this village there were several villages which are suffering for water shortage and walking several km for fetching water. Due to this the working hours for them may get effected and if they were late to work, won't get enough money for that. 

And even though gram panchayat are providing the water they don't know when they will get water and people gathering for the water may quarrel among them for water and this situation is happening everywhere.

As there are many modern techniques for eradicating these problems in the villages and that would be very helpful for them. As in the rainy season roof top rainwater harvesting is a good method now implemented to save water and digging wells and reviving the dead lakes is better.

The village never used to have a proper education system in the past. The students had to either skip education or had to study at the schools in a nearby city. This changed after some university students and teachers visited and showed them why education is important. After a proper understanding, a school was set up in the village with low fees to help students get through their education. As a result of an increase in demand, a total of 4 schools have been set up with almost 600 students. However, due to the pandemic, the students are now attending online classes at their homes. Proper internet connection and power stability have ensured that the students attend the classes without any issues.

Various steps are taken to develop these villages so that, in can promote tourism too. For example, construction of barriers between the sea and shore, so that water can't enter houses, during rainy season. Other initiatives include provision of clean drinking water and sanitation facilities to the residents. Setting up seafood selling regions, regulation of its prices etc. Water logging is the main issue addressed as it keeps recurring every year, inspite of efforts. Public transportation is made available and affordable for easy commuting to markets, hospitals, schools etc if they are distant from the village. 
Surely, seashore villages has got the potential to boost the overall economy and performance of the village!

The villagers are still new to the concepts of cloud computing as they are not sure if it is safe and reliable. One of the most challenging tasks faced by the villagers to overcome the water crisis.

in Kerala, we all know that Malayalam is our mother tongue, however, it has different slangs, so while coming to villages, sometimes it might be a bit complex to understand the exact meaning and all. As a village girl, I can say that we are mostly celebrating each and everything with our relatives, neighbors and all. Like, we are trying to maintain our relationships much better than urban peoples.Then,Festivals includes  Onam,theyyam,pooram, vallamkali,
navarathri,Vishu,etc.we are having our own festivals, food styles which are according to our religion. If it is too traditional also, we all like that except the discrimination based on religion and all. One thing which we cannot avoid is that, our love to banana leaf, beef, coconut, and fish. and it's the land of spices, so we can't think of food without spices. Then, we can clearly understand their simple living through their dressing style. But nowadays, there is a tendency to imitate others in all kinds.

Compare to Ancient times nowadays there was no issue with the lack of water and even the work in field gets more easier using tractors instead of Bullock cart. Not only in the past even in the present situation farmers have problems with the market rates, heavy rain falls(more than sufficient rain) and all. In the last year(2020) many of the farmers were planted paddy in their fields at that time due to heavy rain fall pests took over the entire crop. It was happened in my village too. Then farmers used some of the drugs to bring back the crops back. But, there was no market rates and all.
I heard some of the news like the main thing for the crops getting  rotten is due to planting the crops not in a specified season.
If there was a heavy rain fall try to remove the extra water from the ridges.
solutions for the problems are:
1. Better Water Management.
2. Seasonal Crops.
3. Managing whole systems and landscapes.

Until the last 25-30 years, the village had almost no connection with its neighbors. The only mode of transportation being bullock carts and bicycles. Recent years have brought better ways of travel. The funding from the government has enabled to have a railway station on the edge of town. Roads connecting the local paths and the main national highway have also been built, even though the highway is still distant. These roads have helped university and college students to get proper commutation. The number of such students has increased a lot in recent years. The government encouraging green modes has also set up connections with upcoming small startups to set up their electric vehicles to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases. The village could soar higher in the upcoming years

The facilities, taken over by the government now, has increased the quality of healthcare substantially.
The government has entrusted a board of members for the management of facilities from within the village for further improvement. Our village, that mostly focuses on fishing and tourism on the sea, has focused a part of its  facilities around them in case of emergency. A number of primary healthcare centres is scattered within the village and the nearest hospital only 10-15kms from the border of the village. Ambulance services are present in case of emergencies that can't be dealt in village. The recent growth and development in village could foresee a hospital in the coming years.
The board of members has also taken initiatives to ensure that members of village who could help in healthcare would get a job preference over others.
The doctors and nurses from the hospital conducts programs in the schools present in the village to inspire the young ones to be such aspiring healthcare professionals.
