In this video we can see that how the big credit companies use the people who are financially vulnerable for their own benefit. It shows how the big firms use psychological tricks to get the customers to overspend their money on different unnecessary things. They provoke the customers silently by offering perks and offers to buy various products but at the end its a loss for the consumer. Mostly they target the low-income individuals and the people who lack financial knowledge as they are the easy targets and they trick them into debt traps.

The reason that I chose this video is that it exposed the dirty tactics of the big companies as well as offers some alternative solutions to tackle the problem. I feel that after watching this video, if i faced the same situation then it will instantly trigger in my mind and give me this perspective of getting into a debt trap.

In this video, we learn how consumerism and commercialization lead to a debt trap. It mentions how each individual witnesses numerous advertisements everyday from different sources which subconciously triggers and provokes our minds to buy unimportant stuff and spend our money unnecessarily. They show that how our desires fuels up the traps and once we fall into them its hard to come out. Also it mentions the harms on personal finance as well as the wastage of resources due to the unfulfilling demands.

I chose this video because it not only blames the traditional credits, loans and mortgages but also points out how we push ourselves into debts due to our uncontrollable urge to buy things. This video promotes us to be mindful when spending money

In this video we can see a debate on how recent Canadian policies can effect low income individuals. It discusses the impact of increased government spending and rising national debt on the working poor, highlighting concerns that these policies could lead to higher taxes and reduced social services. The video mentions how the credit can potentially become unaffordable for poors and put them in lifelong debts.

The reason i chose this is because it provides a critical analysis of the intersection between government financial policies and socioeconomic inequality in Canada. It is a very insightful and a realistic video related to the current scenario in canada.
