This is important to me because someone opened up to you and whether or not by choice he or she trusts you enough to tell you. The onus is on the provider to keep it confidential and to only discuss it with the proper channel and person. But of course, if the person is believe to cause harm to themselves calling the authorities would be the first step. The challenge would be to getting the person to trust you or knowing who you yourself should go to.

Being on a active lookout for those that may need help or maybe someone to talk to. the challenges would be for us to properly see the clues cause sometimes it may be oblivious to us and that sometimes even if we have good intentions to help. The person we want to help would not trust us cause we are strangers to them and it is my observation that it takes time and patience to open up to someone about trauma
