I am a person who receives a lot of compliments for the good food I prepare and I always say: It runs in the family, you know? My grandmother was a great cook.

Every year, just before Christmas, my dad fills the car with toys and bags of food. It’s the same thing he’s done since I was little and also the same thing his dad used to do. He drives to a kids orphanage and he doesn’t just drop off donations and leave, he stays for hours, playing games, telling silly jokes, and making sure every kid feels important.

The first time he asked me to come along, I was nervous. What if I didn’t know what to say? But the moment I saw the kids faces light up when they saw us, their laughter, and the way they hugged my dad like an old friend changed everything for me. I keep going with him every year. My grandpa started it, my dad kept it going, and I’m proud to be part of it too. I guess kindness really does run in the family.

I'm planning to enroll the Federal Police Public Contest because being a Police Officer is one of the choices that I would have in my life. My Grandfather Walkirio used to be a Police Officer, then he became a deputy. So passing on the legacy of my Grandfather is one of my ideas. One day, a person asked me why I want to be a police officer. I answered: Maybe it runs in the family.
