So the summary of this book would be that the main character is Stanley Yelnats he always thought that his name was cool because it was spelled the same way forward and backward. but there was a lot of boys getting sent to the camp all at different times but when Stanley got there he realized it was not going to be the fun camp he thought that it was going to be. when he got there he learned that all of the boys had to dig holes every day that where 5 feet wide and 5 feet deep when he was told that he did not want to be there anymore.

I think that I would rate this book a ten out of ten because the author always keeps you on the edge of your chair to make you want to keep reading and it has a very good story line.

A boy named Stanley Yelnats was sent to a place called camp green lake and it was not the fun camp that he thought it would be him and all of the other boys there had to dig holes that were each five feet wide and also five feet deep and the first thing he was told was that the first hole was always the hardest.

My favorite part was when Stanley got his nickname "caveman" because I really like that nickname because it means that he is very brave and strong so that is why they gave him the nickname "caveman"
