         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Behavioral</strong>- Teachers should be aware that these children's impairments can have an effect on their behavior in the classroom<br><strong>Participation</strong>- Some classes, like physical education, may pose difficulty for children with orthopedic impairments <br><strong>Seating</strong>-  These children may need special seating to help with mobility and posture. Schedules may need to be arranged so they don't have a distance to travel between classes. Elevators or ramps may also be beneficial. <br><strong>Technology</strong>- Assistive technology devices may need to be used to communicate effectively. These can also help improve their motor skills. <br><strong>Travel-</strong> These children may face challenges getting transportation to and from school. Federal law requires this be provided. <br><br></div>]]></description>
