Either too many students come to make writing on the whiteboard useful OR too few come and it becomes awkward. As much as possible, I'd like to see assemblies be more student-driven and/or even led by STUCO members. The most important factor is getting the word out in plenty of time & reminding them. I would say that should definitely be replaced with more frequent social assemblies (not by homeroom- but on a much larger scale). Students just want time to interact with each other so maybe monthly assemblies that are open for students to come in and have fun interacting.
