I think preserving history is important, because as Socrates once said "to forget history is the same as if history didnt exist".

Secondly, the problem is not that the movie is racist, the problem is that people associate this racism with your brand, so i suggest clearly stating that you dont agree with the messages of the movie when any user watches it.

In conclusion, deleting the movie is not the right solution.

Dear editor:

I am writing to give my opinion regarding the Gone with the wind movie’s censorship and some other aspects present in there.

First of all, I disagree with the censorship that the movie gives to the audience, this is due to a racist scene that appears during the movie. The reason is that people does not allow black people to be on screen. So why not give them a chance at the big screen despite all this?

Another thing to mention is some misinterpretention scenes mentioned, one of them being the Ku Klux Klan being the heroes of one problematic topic of the movie, I disagree with that because this makes the movie a lot more confusing, specially for people who watch it for the first time

There’s also a scene where slavery takes place in the movie, this is a really problematic thing to mention, because this makes the movie inapropiate for most people.

In conclusion, I believe that racism in movies needs to stop, because this shows people the problems that even nowadays happen often.

Yours truly,

Martin Gresa

Advocating for Individual Expression in Tennis

Dear Ricardo Otero,

I am writing to express my deep concern about the recent dress code controversies in professional tennis, as highlighted in the article "Las reglas dispares para hombres y mujeres sobre su vestimenta". Instances such as the ban on Serena Williams' specialized outfit and Alizé Cornet's admonishment underscore the pressing need for a nuanced approach that balances tradition with individual expression in the sport.

The decision to restrict Serena Williams from wearing an outfit designed for health reasons and the reprimand of Alizé Cornet for a minor shirt adjustment reveal inconsistencies in the enforcement of dress codes. Tennis, with its historical role in advancing gender equality, should continue to evolve in sync with societal values.

In a world that increasingly values diversity and inclusivity, it is imperative for tennis authorities to recognize and celebrate this evolution. Players, as individuals, should be afforded the freedom to express themselves authentically on the court. Let tennis not only be a battleground for skill but also a platform that champions diversity and individuality.

Sincerely,

Francisca Cabrera.

Dear Editor:

I am writting in response to the article regarding to Women’s dress code in tennis and the debate of disparate rules between men and women. As a woman, I understand that there has to be a dress code for tennis players, but I think that it has to be the same for all genders and without sexism.

Firstly, the dress code that its valide right now is uncomfortable for some womens and also it is so specific of what should be their dress for the competitions and ignore the difficulties that they can have the players. Why don’t you consider to do a more flexible dress code and without differences of gender.

To conclude, I belive that dress code in sports like tennis shouldn’t be sexualized and uncomfortable for the players.

Yours truly,

Ignacia Vargas

Dear editor

Im writting to you in response to the article regarding the dress code for women in tennis. In recent years, the world has been involved in a debate surrounding the dress code for female players. As a woman myself, I understandt that a dress code can be "oppressing women" (not really), but since we are talking about sports, there should be some kind of dress code for both genders (taking into consideration that men and women are physically different).

Firstly, the incident of Serena Williams, were she wore a black catsuit, desinged for compression and support. The French Tennis Federarion, considered the outfit as, disrespecful, leadin to a heated exchange between Serena and the tournement organizers.

Another similar incident where alize Conrnets reprimand for changing her shirt.

This aproach to dress code seemed unfair to many people. Lets take as an example the Cornets incident, ¿ why men and women dont use their bathrooms to change between stets? There are there for a reason. And also, the tutu that serena wore in a type of protest to the previous dress code, skirts should be allowed in tennis, but there are limits, they should not be too short nor too long, both for comfort and respect to the audience ( who are not interested in watching the players body, women or men).

Having a dress code is a must have in sports in general, but they should be equal to both genders, therefore, this would have never been a problem.

Dear Editor,

I am writing in response to the article regarding the women’s code in tennis. I understand that these days people is free to use anything they like, but we can not just forget that tennis is an important sport and people should use appropriate clothes to play it, and it is even more important if you are a famous tennis player.

Firstly i think that in any sport, everyone should use sport clothes to being more comfortable while playing, because some people use uncomfortable wearing just for trying to be “fashion”, but i believe that nobody should criticism the style of someone, because is the way they like to wear.

Moreover we can not cross the line, because if you are using a very short skirt while playing tennis while they are recording you, i personally believe that it is inappropriate, because they are disrespecting the sport as such it recognition. It is ok to use anything you like in your daily life, but tennis is a a very recognized sport and i think that everyone should use sport clothes to play it. So for solving that issue, is necessary to make rules about clothes code in tennis or maybe promote sport clothes.

In conclusion, I believe that people should not disrespect this sport using inappropriate clothes.

Yours truly,

Martina Fajardo.
