To be able to be a neurosurgeon you have to choose a good grammar school or medical highschool, for example: Wichterlovo, Grammar school Olgy Havlové or Medical Highschool of Ostrava. After 4 years you have attend university and study general medicine at university of Ostrava, Karlova Universita, Masarykova univerzita, univerzita Palackého, etc., then for another 7 years you'd have to complete a neurosurgery residency and obtain licence. Neurosurgery is a rapidly evolving field. Continuing medical education (CME) and attending conferences are essential for staying current with new techniques and research.
